There are many dolls that the new collector, (and sometimes, the experienced collector, too!), may mistake for a Peggy Nisbet doll.
In some cases, the confusion is understandable - Nisbet "Homers" were made using authentic Nisbet dolls and clothing, but they were not Nisbet dolls! See the heading on the right, to read all about them, and see an example.
Sometimes, the subject matter is so typically Nisbet, that the collector assumes that they are looking at the genuine article. Rexard historical dolls, and particularly the wives of Henry VIII, are probably the number one cause of mistaken identity among Nisbet collectors. Read more about them by clicking on the heading on the right, and hopefully, you will not be fooled by these attractive little deceivers!
