Queen Victoria was issued in December 1976/January 1977. She was the second in a series of three dolls, entitled "Three Famous British Queens".
On sale for £32.40, (including VAT at only 8% in those days), ($87.75) she was an expensive doll, intended for the most dedicated and affluent of collectors.
This porcelain model was 8 inches tall; a 10 inch wax version, (catalogue number 4002), was issued in 1986, for £69.00
